Doctors in Training

Downing Street Group Practice has been a training practice for many years and we take pride in providing high-quality medical education. We train GP registrars, junior doctors and medical students; all are supervised by senior GPs. Medical students do not diagnose and manage patients alone, and every patient they see will be reviewed by the supervising GP. You can decline an appointment with a trainee if you wish.

Consultation Videos

The Royal College of General Practitioners requires registrars to video some consultations during their training. Your written permission will always be sought. Videos will only be viewed by the registrar and trainer, and erased afterwards.
